Newt Gingrich in St. Louis
Got back tonight from a speech by Newt Gingrich who is doing a series of American Solutions’ “Real Jobs Summits”. American Solutions, an organization Gingrich founded in 2007, notes on its website that it is “a unique tri-partisan organization designed to rise above traditional gridlocked partisanship, to provide real, significant solutions to the most important issues facing our country.”
It was a pretty good speech, discussing the evils of socialism and Communism, which are the antitheses of freedom, the jobs-killing policies of the left, and how to return the country to sound footing. For that, I wish I had a video camera, but c’est la vie.
Jim Hoft interviewed Gingrich before his speech where they discussed General McChrystal and General Petraeus. According to Newt, “Obama’s ability to be totally illogical and without any historical context is remarkable”:
