Helen Thomas replaced by… FOX News

Just when you thought FOX was not a real news organization

From The Hill via Michelle Malkin:

The White House Correspondents Association voted unanimously Sunday afternoon to move Fox News to the front row of the White House briefing room.

The seating change was prompted by the resignation of veteran UPI reporter Helen Thomas.

According to Ed Henry, the senior White House correspondent for CNN and member of the WHCA board, the Associated Press will move to the front-row middle seat formerly occupied by Thomas.

Fox News will replace the AP in its former seat, also in the front row, and NPR, which lobbied for Thomas’ seat along with Fox and Bloomberg News, will take Fox’s former seat in the second row.

Liberal groups had lobbied for NPR’s placement in the front row over Fox, which one petition called a “right-wing propaganda outlet.”

This is an abomination! Now that they got that seat though, perhaps they will be FORCED to report the news accurately because everyone will hear the answers they’re reporting on!

This makes me sick. I cannot believe that a fake news station got that seat. Michael Moore would have been more appropriate that them!

I don’t see the issue. As a legitimate new organization (though one that doesn’t share the same blatent liberal biases of the MSM, so therefore it must be a “fake news station”), it has every right to move up to the front row. I actually find it humorous that you think that being in the front row would force anyone to report accurately – Helen Thomas was in the front row for the longest time and was one of, if not THE, most biased reporters in the briefing room.
